Refreshing funk that gets crowds dancing the world over, vocals straight out of the ’70s, a mix between the synth pop of Metronomy and the French Touch of Daft Punk. Just a few adjectives to define Parcels, the indie pop band formed in 2014. Since their debut album, soberly titled “Parcels”, released in 2018, the five childhood friends from the Australian town of Byron Bay have continued to share their funk, disco and rock influences across the globe. As evidenced by their albums Live Vol.1 and Live Vol.2, recorded respectively at Hansa Studios in Berlin and in the basement of Le Palace in Paris, Parcels’ music is calibrated for the stage.
